Data protection has a high priority for Infineon and its group companies. We comply with the data protection legislation of the countries in which we do business. Amendments to the data privacy statement

Our data privacy statement may be amended at irregular intervals to ensure that it complies with current legal requirements or to carry out updates arising from changes/expansions to our services and offerings. The new data privacy statement will then apply automatically the next time you visit our website.

How we process your data

The Infineon Technologies AG uses a participant management tool called moreEvent which is operated and maintained by meetingmasters.de as a software as a service. Meetingsmasters.de is processing personal data on behalf of Infineon Technologies AG.

Data we process about you

To set up a moreEvent instance (subdomain) meetingmasters.de needs the following personal data from the Infineon Technologies AG contact person:

last name, first name
business email address

When registering for an event/ a trade show, the following personal data may be collected and processed about the participant:

mandatory personal data
Last name, first name
business email address
business telephone and mobile number
optional personal data
flight data (arrival/ departure date & time, flight number)
participation on evening events
special meal preferences (meat / vegetarian)
shirt / blouse size or size of vest
company location & department

Processing Purposes

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

to coordinate the all-over management for a tradeshow or an event, which mean:
to manage the hotel group contingent during a tradeshow or event
to handle the registration for a tradeshow or an event (exhibitor pass e.g.)
to inform you about modalities and the course of the trade show or event including any changes of the program
to organize and manage the tradeshow or event itself and to organize evening events
to coordinate the reservation of conference rooms during the tradeshow
to distribute the ordered clothes to the locations
to do statistical analysis about number of overnight stays for the next trade show or event

Legal Bases

We only process personal data about you for the above-mentioned purposes on one of the legal bases:

your consent (for optional personal data you have voluntary provided) and
to safeguard Infineon’s legitimate interests. Infineon has legitimate interests in processing your data for the following purposes:
to offer and operate registration, organization and all-over management of an Infineon trade show or event
to be able to do a pre planning for future trade shows or events.

Personal data of Infineon Technologies AG internal employees will be processed based on a workers council agreement.

The declaration of consent you give us is voluntary and you can withdraw them in relation to the respective purposes at any time with future effect.
Consent cannot be withdrawn retroactively since, once data has been processed, processing of it cannot be undone.

Transfer of your data

If you have given your consent, or we are otherwise legally entitled to do so, we may forward your personal data (section II 1.) to other entities of the Infineon Group or to third parties, especially to selected service providers like meetingsmasters.de, hotels and a promotional items agency. If data is transferred to third countries where there is no adequate level of data protection, we ensure that your data is protected adequately by concluding agreements in compliance with data protection requirements. Your personal data is transferred to government institutions and authorities only if stipulated by national legislation.

Length of time for which your data is stored

Your data will be stored for a maximum of 90 days at the end of the trade show or event , unless there are more extensive statutory or contractual retention obligations.
